Do It Better

Those who accept mediocrity usually get it.  It was reported today that most people who set an improvement goal for 2013 stopped working on it by January 6th.

If you truly want to improve then you have to commit to doing something better and sticking to it.  If you are in sales, then you know that you need to meet new people.

The question is how many? That answer can only be determined by you. If you already know then doing it better means meeting more people. If you do not know, then you have to  find out the following.:

  • How many new contacts does it take to get a new appointment
  • How many new appointments does it take to  get you  a proposal
  • How many proposals does it take to close a deal?

If you answer all those questions and act on it then you will close more deals. The results is that you will do your job better in 2013. It sounds simple but it does work.
